Sales Progressor

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Progressor to join a small, reputable and rapidly expanding estate agency based in Chester.  As Sales Progressor you will be responsible for dealing with a sale once an offer has been accepted, liaising with solicitors, buyers and sellers to push the sale through to completion, providing an outstanding service along the way. You will be managing the company sales pipelines from offer to completion, dealing with and resolving issues along the way so you’ll need to be think-skinned and hungry to get things done. You will be providing the highest level of communication and customer service to all clients and ensure they are updated and advised accordingly. As sales progressor you will have worked in a similar sales administration previously ideally within property or conveyancing. On offer for the successful Sales Progressor is a competitive salary and great earning potential.


Responsibilities:

  • Supporting sales staff by processing sales to completion
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Arranging appointments
  • Dealing with telephone and email leads
  • Managing company pipelines and keeping both vendors and purchasers updated
  • Being a point of contact to vendors and purchasers for advice
  • Overseeing and maintaining a good working relationship with solicitors and surveyors
  • Maintaining an up-to-date list of contractors that you can contact for quotes to help resolve survey issues
  • Negotiating price reductions where required
  • Producing accurate exchange projections for the directors
  • Improving number of days from sale to exchange
  • Implementing ideas and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce fall-throughs
  • Effectively turn the pipeline to an agreed target on a quarterly basis.


Required skills:

  • Previous experience ideally working in a fast-paced Estate Agents or similar industry
  • Conveyancing background desirable
  • Understanding of the mortgage application process
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised with good time management skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Knowledge of current legislation
  • Professional and friendly
  • The ability to achieve targets
