Sales Consultant

We are working exclusively with a well-established world class Jewellers who are looking for a driven and pro-active Sales Consultant to join their team. As Sales Consultant you will be meeting potential customers and following up on leads and previous customers to maximise on all sale opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Consultant ideally within retail, jewellery or luxury sales who is looking for their next move into a role whereby you can have autonomy and develop a long-term successful career. Our client is offering a good salary with the ability to double your salary in commission earnings. Full or part time applications will be considered. 


To provide a personable and consultative service to clients as an expert sales consultant, developing client relationships and sharing your passion for our products.

Use your flair and engaging personality to develop loyalty with customers through a one on one consultative approach to sales and building up long-term relationships.

  • Provide a unique customer experience and exceptional standard of service before, during and after a sale
  • Identify and maximise new sales opportunities
  • Follow up with previous customers and new leads via phone or face to face
  • Work towards and exceed sales targets
  • To develop and maintain product knowledge
  • Create a sales strategy to include both online and face to face sales
  • Liaising with customers where required
  • Visual merchandising, including daily housekeeping to maintain high standard of the product presentation

Required skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • A pro-active attitude, with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Friendly, approachable, confident personality and a strong team player
  • Jewellery Sales experience would be advantageous ideally Diamonds or luxury retail
  • Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to outperform sales targets
  • Have a flexible approach to work and a desire to learn and develop
  • Personal appearance must be of professional business attire
