An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well- regarded Law Firm based in Chester due to their continued growth. Our client is an outstanding North West legal firm who are built on traditional values, with service delivered in a modern way, they provide specialist legal and financial advice, which is provided by a talented team of individuals who are experts in their fields. As Commercial Property Solicitor you will be providing services to owner managed and SME sized businesses, property investors, property developers and landlords and tenants of a variety of commercial premises.  To be considered for this position, you will be a qualified Solicitor with a good history of working independently on a range of commercial property transactions, including strong experience on development work. You are likely to have at least 5 years’ PQE, however applications from more junior candidates who feel they have what it takes to fulfil this position are welcome. The established property team is working for both SME’s and high-profile clients on the full range of real estate matters.  Due to the success of the firm and the forward-thinking nature of the business, the property team is having to turn work away hence a real need for an experienced commercial property solicitor.

This is an opportunity to drive the department forward.  With full support of highly skilled property lawyers, you will be the head of the department without the need to bring a following of work.

About you:

To be considered for this position, you will be a qualified Solicitor with a good history of working independently on a range of commercial property transactions, including strong experience on development work. 

You will join a busy department which continues to receive regular instruction from their loyal and diverse client base. You will advise clients on a broad range of matters pertaining to commercial property and handle a caseload focusing on commercial acquisitions and disposals and landlord and tenant matters

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team and produce work quickly and accurately often within tight timescales. You will therefore have the ability to remain calm when working under pressure and strong IT skills.

In addition to the above, you will need to be flexible and self-motivated. You will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and thrive upon a demanding workload.

An entrepreneurial flair or interest in business development would also be a welcome asset given the Department’s commitment to growth and to involving all its members in marketing and development initiatives.
