Recruitment Account Manager

We are excited to be recruiting for a Recruitment Account Manager to join the growing Chrysalis team. Unlike the typical Recruitment role this is not about business development, its main objective is client delivery and candidate attraction. As Recruitment Account Manager you will manage existing clients, responsible for vacancies from start through to completion. We are looking for a driven, personable, engaging and customer focused individual to join the team as we embark on some exciting growth plans. The Account Manager would suit someone in a similar role now or a Recruitment Consultant who is fed up of the 360 slog whereby you’re responsible for generating new business. The role:

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of vacancies, sourcing and selecting potential candidates, managing the interview and offer process, and account management of key clients.

Day to day:

  • Working alongside MD in order to understand the profiles, job descriptions, CV’s and experience your clients are looking for
  • Responsible for job roles from start through to completion with the support of Recruitment Coordinator
  • Compiling job specifications in order to attract top quality candidates on behalf of your clients
  • Supporting the Recruitment Coordinator in creating effective job advertisements
  • Publishing jobs onto various job boards, social media platforms and online channels via Broadbean
  • Source, shortlist and refer best qualified candidates for vacant positions
  • Managing applications and screening of suitable candidates
  • Utilise all available recruitment channels to secure a stream of suitable applicants
  • Conduct telephone and video interviews for varied commercial positions
  • Prepare candidates to send to client with full candidate profile
  • Schedule interviews and call backs for suitable candidates
  • Maintain list of available and registered candidates for future vacancies
  • Thoroughly support your candidates with honest feedback and coach them through each stage of the process
  • Build strong relationship with key clients through regular updates, communication and review meetings
  • Take full ownership of the candidate experience, managing offer and negotiation with your candidates
  • Update in house CRM database and manage all recruitment administration with the support of Recruitment Coordinator, including updating recruitment trackers
  • Promote and advertise roles via social media channels especially Linked In
  • Source leads and track agency user information on required spreadsheets
  • Make regular client update calls in order to maximise account opportunities
  • Compile monthly plan to grow existing accounts utilising other departments & hiring managers
  • Build strong relationship with Hiring Hub in order to generate new vacancies and additional revenue
  • Business development calls may be required from time to time to generate local opportunities
  • Support the team with other general admin duties
  • Maintaining recruitment folders, ensuring that all documents are saved in the correct folders and tracker
  • Achieving weekly and monthly KPI's
  • Act as an ambassador of Chrysalis Recruitment Solutions and its values; welcoming and motivating new and existing colleagues, offering a professional, honest and personal service to all of our candidates and clients, and promoting our services through networking and jobs fayres

About you:

  • Experience of working in a similar recruitment role previously, with a proven track record of meeting revenue targets
  • An excellent telephone communicator with a confident and open style
  • A bright, go-getting person who is tenacious and resilient
  • Passionate about progression
  • Target driven with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a positive mental attitude

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to plan and organise own workload
  • Ability to work as a team as well as individually
  • GSCE or equivalent qualification in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • Computer literacy
