Mergers & Acquisitions SEO Strategist

Our client is looking for an ambitious and creative Mergers and Acquisitions SEO Strategist to join their expanding Marketing Team  - this is the perfect opportunity to manage a growing team of SEO Executives responsible for delivering the strategies for the entire company and partnership brand, and for an ambitious strategist to lend their skills to our successful team who act as the creative hub for the brand. Working within our dedicated SEO team your responsibility as M & A SEO Strategist will be as direct line management to our SEO Executives, by managing workloads, training and development, performing regular personal reviews and setting KPI’s. You will also be lending your strategic skills to ensuring our sites are also measured against conversion rates to drive efficiency at the point of sale. Sitting within our creative Marketing Team, you will take ownership of the organic strategy for our growing collection of sister sites, and managing the organic session and booking growth of our brands.

Key Responsibilities:

As our newest M & A SEO Strategist, you will be accountable for delivery in the following areas;

  • Create, update and enhance landing page content upon the websites
  • Undertake keyword research to ensure written content is optimised & new pages are created
  • Work with Property Management teams to help populate poorly optimised pages
  • Use Google Analytics to monitor session and conversion rate performance
  • Work closely with the product/conversion rate optimisation team to ensure improved efficiency and performance
  • Be an advocate for our sister sites and be able to communicate its importance to the wider business
  • Management of SEO executives and regular performance reviews
  • Regular reporting and feedback on website performance

Essential Experience

  • Previous SEO experience in an agency or client side (minimum 1 year)
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Previous experience managing multiple campaigns/clients
  • Experience using SEO tools (SEMRush, Screaming Frog, AHREFS…)
  • Experience in performing competitor analysis
  • Experience in developing SEO strategies & reports
  • Track record of delivering tangible results


  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (e.g. Creative Writing, English, and Marketing)
  • Portfolio of creative work
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Understanding of HTML,CSS & JS
  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team
