Account Manager

The Account Manager will be a key business role in helping the business achieve its growth plans. As Account Manager, you will assist the Operations Director in managing key client relationships. You will have a pro-active, professional and tenacious approach to build and strengthen relationships with dealers.

As the business expands its client base and service opportunities, there is the need for an Account Manager.

This role will assist the Operations Manager Director in managing key client relationships. The role exists primarily to ensure that we establish and maintain relationships with our clients, especially, performance levels and ensuring that all agreed actions are completed, and that we importantly always deliver on our promises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become the ‘go to person’ for all the client communication and requirements.
  • Work closely with the Operations Director in developing and preparing cross departmental report to measure client process activity, and SLA performance.
  • Work closely with all the areas of the business, including; Operations, Sales, Compounds in championing your client needs and ensuring SLA’s are met.
  • Work closely with IT and Product in ensuring client development requirements are accurately described and developed in accordance with agreed processes and timelines.
  • Attending client meetings, capturing notes, action and ensuring identified actions are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Over time assist in uncovering new client requirements and help in developing these new opportunities.

Desired Skills and Experience

  •  Knowledge of Microsoft packages including excel.
  •  Implementing ways of working that drive quality and efficiency.
  •  Experience in the automotive industry.
  •  Client focused.
  •  A problem solver
  •  Key attention to detail in paramount to this position and the Account Manager must possess the   ability to communicate well across all levels of the business, both internally and externally
  •  Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external clients, as   well as, peers and colleagues across the organisation.
  •  Strong analytical, prioritising, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and planning skills.
