Web Designer

Due to ambitious growth plans our client is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Web Designer to join their rapidly growing team based in Wrexham. As Web Designer, you will be a pivotal support function to the Marketing Team implementing their online marketing strategy. This pivotal role involves working as part of the Marketing team and alongside the Marketing Team Leader to design and implement online marketing strategies. Day to day you would work with the web team to ensure campaigns are created and submitted to timelines set by the Marketing Team Leader / Marketing Manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of graphics for use across brand websites
  • Design and creation of html newsletters, dynamic landing pages using CSS
  • Design all printed literature for all marketing events – trade shows, customers etc
  • Complete regular website audits to make suggestions for improvement considering UI and UX
  • Cover and maintenance of the websites including updating banners, changing and building dynamic pages, etc
  • Implementation and development of SEO strategies / campaigns
  • General website admin duties and updating tasks
  • Maintenance to all brand websites
  • Provides creative marketing support for POS material and other printed requirements
  • Photographing products/projects for use online and in print
  • Supports links between web site and social media
  • Creating new branding proposals for current or potential new brands
  • Make recommendations for potential improvements to current and future web and print marketing campaigns

 Essential Skills:

  • Previous front end and HTML knowledge or experience
  • Bright graduate / equivalent experience within web/print design
  • Strong IT literacy, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and identify trends and make recommendations
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent Attention to Detail
  • Self-motivated, eager to develop, team-player, good communicator
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Working knowledge / understanding of SEO implementation
  • Adobe Creative Suite including Dreamweaver, Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong working knowledge of social media
  • Movie editing and experience on Final Cut Pro is advantageous
