Business Development Assistant

We’re looking for a confident, articulate and self-motivated person to join our client who is a well-established telemarketing company whereby you will work as part of a small friendly team on a part time basis (10-20hrs per week). As Business Development Assistant you will be mainly making business development calls on behalf of their clients across various sectors, so you will need an excellent telephone manner, great communication skills and enjoy talking to people on the phone. We are happy to accommodate flexible working. The role of Business Development Assistant would suit someone who has previous experience in sales or customer service, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important and we are happy to provide full training. Our client offers a great hourly rate, pleasant working environment with free parking, based near Cheshire Oaks.


Role:

A B2B business development role that requires a mature, experienced, confident and motivated individual who can confidently deliver the client brief in telephone calls to businesses. You will be mainly making business development calls on behalf of our clients, so you will need an excellent telephone manner, great communication skills and enjoy talking to people on the phone. You will need to be happy using computers although full training will be given. You will also be helping to manage social media activity so skills in this area are a bonus.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Making business development telephone calls to build/progress quality relationships for our clients
  • Sending personal business development emails to build/progress quality relationships for our clients
  • Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities
  • Booking appointments
  •  Answering inbound calls
  • Accurate record keeping and data entry
  • Client meetings as and when required
  • Social media posting/engagement with followers
